Assignment
The assignment was to re-engineer a non-standards page. Students were to select a web page that features an attractive design, however the HTML is built to outdated standards or to no standards at all, and rebuild the page, completely rewrite the markup to XHTML 1.0 Transitional and attempt to use the existing images from the page and CSS to re-create the layout and design.
Solution
I took out all the tables that were used in the original site and reduced some weight, changing the text image into the real text. Also, I was able to create exactly the same looking site as the original.
